During my time at North Actionsports Group, I worked for two years to enhance their webshop by improving the user experience and increasing conversion rates through UX and UI improvements. I collaborated with a team of four, including Leander Stolwijk, Vincent Westgeest, and Wouter Graatsma. My role in the team was Digital designer. Below, I will provide a few examples of the improvements we made.
I made several improvements to the webshop's product page among the product image presentation in order to provide a better view of the product and product description. Additionally, for mobile users, I increased the font size, size labels, and colors to enhance usability. I also implemented a sticky "Add to Cart" feature on mobile devices to ensure that the checkout option is always easily accessible.
I implemented a swiper on the collection page, allowing users to quickly view the products and get a better visual representation. Instead of using color bullets, I replaced them with product thumbnails, enabling users to have a clearer understanding of the available options. I moved the filter option to above the page for a better overview. These modifications were designed to enhance the user experience in general.
